We have had a home in Preuilly-sur-Claise for over ten years. Already considerable Francophiles and urged by one of our children, we finally decided, “Why not!” After some searching and a fortuitous ‘near-miss’ with a sur-Loire property, we had the greatest good fortune to buy where we did, and have received a most sympathetic welcome and continuing great kindness, not only from neighbours on the Carroir but also from many others in the town.
